All
School Chanukah Event Several times a year, the school holds all-school events. Chanukah is always one of those times. After a welcome by Education Director, Barbara Carr, Rabbi Roberts and Cantor Natker led the school families in a brief servic. Lizlo Conner, the Gesher School Hebrew specialist, entertained us with her wonderful telling of Herschel and the Chanukah Goblins punctuated with music from her electric cello (remember Peter and the Wolf?). Ely Freedman led the families in Chanukah singing. Sufganiyot and juice were enjoyed by all. The Education Committee held a highly successful Second Annual Gently Used Toy and Book Sale, with proceeds going to the Gesher School.
